New Haven Police Emerald Society

Founded March 15,1979

Based in New Haven, Connecticut, our membership consists of full time or honorably retired police officers from 28 area law enforcement agencies. We are a charitable, non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the Irish culture and heritage as related to the law enforcement community.

We believe those who risk their lives to protect others are heroes, and when our heroes fall we must be there to help them and their families. Police officers work every day to protect the citizens all across our wonderful country and the world.

When an officer is injured in the line of duty, medical bills are only the beginning.

Officers can suffer permanent damage that can limit or end their careers.

Heaven forbid, they sometimes lose their lives in the line of duty.

For that reason, the compensation they receive from their employers or insurance may not help with all of the economic impact of dying or being injured in the line of duty. For that reason, they may seek the assistance of a personal injury attorney. There are plenty of attorneys that specialize in helping police officers. If you need an accident attorney in your area, contact us and we may be able to refer you to a firm.
