2006 Fall Conference Schedule of EventsThursday Nov. 2 : Registration and open hospitality room Friday Nov 3: Registration and welcoming reception at the Colony Inn Special ‘Emerald Society Night’ event hosted by the famous ‘Toad’s Place’ Saturday Nov 4 : Fall Business Meeting for NCLEES at the Colony Inn For anyone not attending the meeting the West Haven Police Emerald Society is hosting a casino trip (details) Saturday Night : Bagpipe guided tour of some of New Haven’s finest drinking establishments. We currently have a schedule of 8 stops on the tour but will continue the event until the pipers collapse or we run out of booze, whichever comes first! Sunday Nov 5 : Old Fashioned New England Clam and Lobster Bake. This will be our ‘wrap-up’ special for our members that volunteered but ALL are welcome to attend. If any group or individual has an interest in visiting a specific point of interest, i.e. Yale University, Mystic Seaport, please let me know by clicking here. We will do everything in our powers to make it happen. Unfortunately I think it may be a little too late in the season for leaf peeping but I can probably arrange a lovely tour of Connecticut’s other scenic beauties, if I can think of any. Once you’ve made your plans I would appreciate it if you could let us know how many people from your group are attending and what days you will be here. This will help us in our planning greatly. |
